Breakfast

There are heaps of options for a baby that age including yoghurt, pureed fruit (you can do this yourself just steam the fruit until soft and then blend.  Freeze in ice cube trays for convenience), baby cereal, porridge, et cetera.  By nine months my daughter had some teeth and I used to give her toast cut into fingers with butter and a smattering of vegemite.  She loved gumming it to death and I'd just leave her in her high chair and let her go for it.  Messy but fun.

I gave my kids weetbix too.  Bland enough for them to like but also enough flavour to get their tastebuds into gear!!  Good luck!

wheetbix. Made it by pouring boiling water to make it soft and adding cows milk. No sugar or anything. They are now almost 2 and 3 and still have this for breakfast :)

I zap the weetbix in the microwave to heat to a warm temp. This turns them to mush as much as preparing them in boiling water.
