What is my "watch list" and how is it updated/used?

You can choose to "watch" almost any activity on Minti (including specific members if you like) so that the Watch list is updated whenever something new happens on a watched area. When you add a discussion post to some advice, create advice or otherwise participate in writing on the site you will automatically have your watch list updated for the "conversation" you participated in. If you want to remove any item from your watch list you simply click "unwatch" which appears for all watchable items.

You can decide to receive daily emails on changes which have been flagged on your watch list and this will help you find your way to only the most interesting areas of Minti tailored exactly to you.

I might just add that the watchlist seems to have a few bugs in it at the moment and isn't working the way its supposed to.

Usually whenever someone comments on an article or Q&A or group or blog or forum that is on your watchlist (it's on your watchlist because you clicked the eye on the top right side of the screen that says "Watch", or because it added it automatically when you added a comment to something) then those comments appear in your watchlist.  It's a great way to keep up with the things you've been interested in.

I miss that its not working properly right now... boo hoo...

The Watchlist allows you to keep track of new activity on Minti items, such as an Advice article, a Question, a Group Blog, or a Member Blog. For example, if you’re watching a piece of Advice, new comments and advice versions will be listed; if you’re watching a group, new blog posts will be listed. Items can be added to your Watchlist by clicking on the ‘watch’ link or eye icon that appears on various pages. The Watchlist email settings can be changed by going into the Watchlist section of your homepage, then click on the ‘configure watchlist’ button.
