Is anyone brave enough and come and tell they were the ones who gave my photo of my beautiful son and I one thumb up or are you to @##!*%# gutless. I have had enough of this place, what a sad few people that ruin what could be a great site. I find it disgusting, I did not even mean to have that photo in my profile as it is the one you see now. People I find are losing sight of what this place is for, and because they are not face to face they feel secure in just being nasty.
I do belive if there is a gray thumbs up no one has voted on the picture. To be honest I do have mixed feelings about the whole pictures thing. I do love it as I can see every one in the same place, but as it is only 2 ways of voting on it I dont see how can that help rate the most popular or whatever it was. I do vote but I never give a 1 thumb up to a child, for a simple reason that I love kids and love photos.
when they first added that , i did say to them that i dont think its a great idea to have that option on to rate pics they should of just had it just as random pics with no votes ,, some people are just idiodts that like to spoil things for others ,, i didnt ask though are all the pics also public ( what i mean is that others that are not on minti can also view them) that also might be the problem , it might not be anyone on minti if thats the case ?
hey there jambone, i know exactly what you mean, it is disgraceful to think that anyone could rate any child to me every child is beautiful and our son is gorgeous!!!!!!!! i think things have gotten out of hand abit since the changes there is abit of tension between some and i think that soem are starting to lose sight of why minti was made in the first place, it was made for parents to help parents, parents to meet parents and most of all to make friends not bicker over the petty stuff that some are bickering about, i don't want to cause any trouble for anyone but i hope you don't leave as you will be truely missed!!!
I know what you mean. I also find it disgraceful that people would even want to rate kids...i don't understand it! You have every right to be protective and upset, however, on the same token....you know who you are, you know who your son is... keep showing your true colours and be yourself....you and your son are both gorgeous!
I just looked at your pic which is an awesome photo but I don't think it has been voted on as it's grey. I did the same I only have 2 photo's up and I thought my beautiful boy only got one thumb up too.
I also don't think it's a good idea to vote on childrens picture's. They are all worth 100 thumbs up to who took them and it's not for someone else to judge.
hi i am not 100%sure but i think when the thumbs up is grey noone has actually voted on it ....when someone votes on a picture the thumbs up changes to a yellow orangy colour....please check with someone higher in the ranks but i think thats the case otherwise iam a very unliked person because out of 4 pages of pictures only 5 have two thumbs up.......
not that i have any pics of my kids up anymore but i also find the whole voting on pics thing a little stupid..personally, i would never vote on a pic...it ust doesnt seem.. right..heh.. i have been online in various forms for a LONG time, and it is becoming more and more apparent that the trouble makers are everywhere.. there will always be someone out just trying to get a rise out of someone.. simply becuase they can...dont sweat it hon...you cant help the socially inept.. xoxo
Hi there....i know exactly where you are coming from....Mate I too have some of my kids photos marked as a one and think the voting option on this is disgusting....Who gives anyone the right to vote on our photos and anyone who marks a photo of a child under 2 has a problem...I made a comment on someones blog today concerning the same issues.....Let it go mate you know who you are and you know how gorgeous your son is so just let it go....I really think admin should look into the whole voting on photos...I think it is wrong...Just my thoughts on this and the person who is marking my comments down mark it down all you like it is all counted as votes....Sorry for my sarcasim there..You have a great night and just don't worry about it...The majority of people on here are not like that......

i think your child beauyful , i wouldn't let it get to you . poeple just vote in what ever way they think at the time so don't get up set . things get better for you , just keep smiling knowing that your child beautfuly and so is evry child in there .
You miss the point I really don't think I want to be here getting advise of someone so stupid and petty. I have no doubts my son is beautiful and anyone would be just nasty to say any baby isn't, they are innocent soals.
I didn't agree with this rating system in the first place, and therefore didn't want my pictures up but somehow it is there. It is not what people think that is the problem, as I know exactly who and what I am.
From what I understand it is not a child rating system but a way of catagorising the pics. The rating could be based on quality, lighting, originality or sharpness of the photo. It has nothing to do with children and there is nothing saying that it is a rating contest for our children. Having said that, there is nothing stating that it is not either but I know that it is not.
Either one thumb or two thumbs is positive anyway as thumbs up means OK!
I wouldn't be worried about this it is not what minti is about.
You and your son are beautiful. Please dont take the photo rating seriously, I remeber reading somewhere, someone saying their car had rated higher than their kids.
