Re: Losing the weight

I was in your shoes after my second pregnancy. The weight just seemed so difficult to get rid of and the longer it stayed the worse I felt about myself. While I don't recommend diet pills for any extended length of time, They really helped me get over that bump. Xenadrine and Hydroxycut were very helpful for me at that time. However, there are so many more options available now. Check out this site for help:

Had the same problem. Was 50kgs, had 4 kids, ended up 110kgs. Now 68kgs and still loosing. I joined the gym. Changed my eating patterns. Cardio and weights are the best for weight loss. Building muscle helps your body burn fat faster. Also try eating about 6 very small meals a day and don't eat a thing after 6pm at night so your body has time to digest what you have eaten. Also eat just after exercising cos your metabolisim is working faster after a working out. Allowing you to pretty much burn off what you have just eaten. Its a sure way to loose weight. Keep your head up. You'll start loosing before you know it. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Know exactly how you feel, my daughter is now 2 & I was a size 8-10 before and am now a size 14!! It is really hard trying to find the energy to exercise as well as looking after a baby/toddler all day & stick to a ''Healthy Diet'' it is so much easier to just heat meals up that are already prepared for you! Don't have the answer but I feelso much better knowing that I am not alone with this!

Some people have told me you have to cut ALL FAT out of your diet (which I don't want to do) and you have to do cardio and strength trainging. Such as run on the treadmill AND lift weights or do push ups and situps. I personally think this is a little crazy, I just try to eat right, and not eat too much, and I exercise as much as I can. I still have 15 pounds to lose but I am not beating myself up about it anymore b/c I am doing all I can. You may want to join a gym that personally helps you too, likes curves I have heard is good. They weight you, help you set a realistic goal, and then you go 3 times a week and a trainer helps you target different parts of your body. I posted a question about this not too long ago, but I have not really given up, but accepted that unless I want to go crazy and exercise 5 days a week (which I don't have the energy to do) I will probably be this size for awhile. Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep and drinking enough water or you won't lose weight either.
