LMAO i just had a similar problem on Saturday. I was packing up my house when my 22 month old Jacob came in the room whith what looked like mud all over him. He had this HUGE grin on his face saying poo poo mummy it was so gross but he thought it was hilarous.

haaa yack funny you should say that i just went through this a coupple of hours ago .. nice isnt it , i loved cleaning the wall he just used his poo poo to paint with . i just had a nappy and a top on him so now its back to pants ontop of that also so it will be a little more tricky to get in there ..

My son never did but I struggled for 3 months with my daughter. in the end I out her cot in the middle of the room so the walls wernt being painted. no matter what we did she was there most mornings. but she grew out of it.

I'm not sure if it will make them ill eating or putting their fingers in their mouths but it does make your tummy turn thinking about it.

when J was 2 she used to do that to her cot, I would wake up and be able to smell it before i even got out of bed, Id be thinking "Oh Great she has done it again"... I used to get her out and put her in a shower/bath strait away. Id make the water colder then usual so it would be uncomfotable for her so she would realise its not fun to paint with poo.. she only did it 3 or 4 ti8mes then she forgot about it i guess... Good luck and i hope u have a strong belly.. I didnt cos i was pregnant with my second at the time so i had to use a peg on my nose... LOL

The Scoop on Poop

Above is a site for parents needing the scoop on poop.  Learning about the coxsackie virus is especially useful for moms/mums of young artists.

Hi
Well at least one thing...as long as she ahs a good diet...might be lots of proteins.....
My cousin when he was about 18 months old sat in the chook pen eating the poop then he pooped it out later in his room and painted the walls made a nice mess....my aunty said it was sooo gross...
Once when i was sick i had put a mattress on the lounge floor as Megan was about 12- 15 months old and i woke up to her putting her finger down and eating what i thought was chocolate....guess what it turned out to be...a nice runny one at that...never hurt her but oh my goodness i hurled twice as much....
It is normal...just like her next feed of the cat or dog food.....
Kids aren't fussy
Luv Deb

Thats nothing by the way I worked as a disability worker in CRU's (personal carer) and we had few adult "painters" well thats something different let me tell you that on house had the painter (the real one) on speed dial . Also we had some that eat their &^$# not plesent at all you can wash them and clean them but not even a toothbrush can clean the smell and they were fine as in it didint made them sick (to answer the second bid to your question)

If she had fun she would probably do it again so make sure she cant do it or you will have lots of fun cleaning up.

I hate to admit to this but i did it as a 2 year old ...... Please dont hold it against me everyone

mY son also did it when he was 2 and i had to drag all the stuff outside and scrub it all down..... I made sure from then on my son had on a bodysuit or sleeping bag that he couldnt get thru  to stop him ever doing it again whenever he was in bed......I  think its a normal part of exploration..... Im sure kids cant get sick from it going in their mouth as they slobber over everything and constantly put germs in their mouth every day......

I think of this as a real initiation into motherhood..... (well this and also when they spend the night vomiting the first time and you have to clean them and the bed....yuk!!!)

I have heard of older kids but never that young not that there is anything wrong with that children learn things because they experiment. My son did it 2 times I was suprised how much comes out of him and yes it makes me feel good now as I know I am not the only one whose child did this.
