I will take care of you - amy sky..

this song tells the story of a mother giving birth to her daughter..watching her grow.. taking care of her ...watching her get married. . then it turns.. and the daughter is taking care of the mother... its beautiful, my ex bought it forme when our daughter was born, and it used to reduce me to tears every time..

the chorus goes:

i will take care of you

the very best that i can

with all of the love here in my heart and all of the strength in my hands

your every joy ill share

for every tear i'll be there,

my whole life through

i will, take care of you

Funny I heard a song just like this today... Believe it or not I found it hidden in my stepdaughters room among her old tapes.. I will have to look at the name of it to see if I can read it but the tape is so old that the words have been wiped. I will take a closer look...

I know the first lines are something along the lines of a family is happy when the new baby arrives... And I found it on the Smurfs... LOL

LOL guns and roses did a cover too...  And what was that group that wrote the song  "I hate every thing about you?"""
There are so many covers of that song it is amazing.. I will say this though because of my age, I also thought that Cat Stevens wrote the song... But my father taught me other wise...

A bit of trivia for you... Do you know who wrote the song "I will always love you"  With out going to google????

LOL i knew someone was going to say that...
I have found with a lot of songs depending on my age as to whom I thought first wrote something.. It is amazing how many songs were covers during my years of music...

I'd sit in the car singing along to a song and wonder how on earth my dad or mum could know the words to sing along to them... Low and behold they were covers.. LOL I usually went out and found the originals were better...
