all my pregnancy tests were done by home tests and all 3 were faint line as i was very early into my pregnancy when i did them and they were all positive.

i don't understand when tests say you are positive when your not considering you need the pregnancy hormone to make the line come up?weird

Enclosed in the pregnancy test would have been a booklet to help u understand any result.But from what i believe any line present wether faint or not is a positive result.So congrats your pregnant.

Same thing happened to me. I took the test 6 days b4 i was due and a very faint line came up. Went to the dr who confirmed that I WASN'T pregnant via a urine test only to have it reconfirmed a week later with a blood test. Mmmmm, u r saying? yes, we now see a different dr!! Congratulations ( opt for the blood test if i were u) lol

Hi there, I had the same thing happen to me. I took four of the early home pregnancy tests and each one came up the faintest line ever. I was starting to wonder if I was seeing things. I ended up waiting until the day before my period was due to do another early one and this one came up very positive. I would suggest maybe waiting a couple more days and then doing another one. I would say you probably are pregnant though. Hope this helps.

WIthout any other information it certainly sounds as if you are!  Congratulations!

But before you get too excited/concerned, it's worth speaking to your doctor and getting a blood test to confirm.  Having said that, however, the doctor never bothered to do that with me.  When I went in and said I'd had a positive pregnancy test she just said congrats and then we got on with the process of planning to have a baby.

As a general rule, though, you're more likely to have a false negative, than a false positive. But there's always exceptions!

my suggestion is to read the package and if it says for positive prenancy test, there is a line, then you are probably pregnant.  But, if you are doubtful, have a urine or blood test done at your doctors.  You aren't even late so it could even be a false positive.
