i use the fly lady program online cause i am hopeless at setting a routinue.....

she sets zones for the house and then i can slowly catch up...... but i feel sometimes so bad when i just see what mess my two kids can make...... she also emails me lots of reminders too which helps....

Good luck

I do so much everyday

Mon ,WASHING UP,vac the floor , wash the floor , dusting

Tues , WAsh up , washing , Clean bathroom and toitlet

See if you do so much each day you can send time with your child  and if you keep to the routine   everything falls into place , but if something goes wrong  like child sick  well just do one extrea job day . Most of all enjoy time time with your little one

hey there i am a mother of 5 and i manage to get a lot done in one day wi6thout alot of water usage, it means that i have all my cleaning things in each room as i go its handy, i use white king antibacterial wipes so when i get up for a morning whizz i quickly grab a wipe and wipe my toilet from top to bottom then around it , i put that wipe in the bin.

The bathroom is just as easy i have my morning shower and as i leave the room (and have hustled out the few extra bodies that seem to join me everytime) i use an old towel and scuff it over the floor with my feet to use water drips on the floor to help mop it.

then i get the kids to join me when i sort clothes into baskets and then put hem into there rooms.(i put them away later, at least they are tidy)

as the kids eat brekky i clean the kitchen dishes and sweep or vac.(rinsing their dishes later or putting them in the sink with water left in.

I put a load of washing on first thing and  the kids play on the trampoline or swings, etc and i talk to them while hanging clothes out.(they love passing me up clothes)

for the pain in the bum handmarks etc on the glass doors and windows i use a sponge/squidgy i pay 3 bucks for at woolies and use a very small amount of water in a bucket with just a touch of washing up liquid i then use the foam side and scrub windows/doors and turn over and use squidgy horizontally over window then one long vertical one to clean edge .i use a teatown to wipt the blade each time.

This trick works on large wall areas but instead of usinf the squidgt i use an old towel and wizz around with the squdgy sponge washing little people marks off then wipe off with towel, its really quick and easy and i usually get the kids to do the towell bits. they love it.

if you have a large dog  you dont rreally need to bath them alot . there is a powder probuct now that you rub into their hair and brush through that cleans their coat. little dogs are easy to chuck into (not literally lol) the laundry tub and give a wash in less than 5 minutes.

the car i also do with wipes on the inside as this is easier and quicker and i have also used a bucket and squidgy for the outside but i usually get a clothes basket and get the kids to chuch everything into it and then i keep a dustpan brush in the back under the seat and i use it to give the car a quick sweep out to save lugging vacuums and wasting time.

if you involve the kids with the easier things you spend time with them and clean.

this always takes me till lunchtime and in the afternoons i do heapd with the kids . you just need to do it regularaly and you get quicker and u then dont even have to do it too often.

i told my older kids that if they didnt help more i would have to use some of their pocket money to pay a cleaner to come 8in and do it.

good luck its really only annoying in laws and rude busy bodies that comment on peoples homes anyway. enjoy your family .

Hi
Move to Toowoomba
We are on level 5 water restrictions....means you can't wash the car or the pets or the windows....saves a lot of water and housework.....
Housework will always be there tomorrow
When you have kids you either live in a perfect world and have no time with bub or you forget about the housework and do it when bub is asleep if you are not too tired
Spend time with bub they grow so fast and you don't want to miss out on any of it
Baby wont care if the house is perfect
