Post op question

Yesterday Cole had small procedure, he had tubes put in both ears again.  To put him under this time they used gas, he did not have to have an IV.  Yesterday evening, he began sweating ALOT!  He was laying on the couch, and when I moved him the couch under him from head to toe was soaked,  his hair was dripping.  He did not have a fever.  He slept off and on all day.  Which I expected.  But the sweating I had never even heard of.  Anyone else ever have this problem?  Or do you know what caused it?

If I were you I would ring up the hospital that Cole had the procedure at, and ask the ward he was discharged from if it is normaly or if you should bring him back in for a check up incase it is something

Good Luck

I talked to the nurse, and she said not to worry unless he has a fever, which he does not.  He is feeling much better today!

Our daughter does this sometimes. I think she just gets hot and is in such a deep sleep that she doesn't push her blanket off. If he doesn't have a fever, I wouldn't worry. Unless the doctor said it was a reason to call, which you could call just to be sure.
