Does this scare you regarding your children?

I just watched An Inconvenient Truth (here is my blog post about it) and it worries the heck out of me for our children's sake especially.

Does it worry you?

Hi There! Clay, good question! I'm a flower child of the 70's,earth Mother, and every generation has had it's issues of the rightness of bringing children into this world. Back then it was pesticide use,the war and...boy,have things ever changed,eh? I.T. was remarkably well done and made me look at Gore in a whole different manner. He has somewhat of a cult standing here in Canada. Giving power to the individual is a start and we better start, long over due. Those who have untold wealth from oil and large industry need to be held accountable. The profit lines won't matter when Earth breaths her last breath. We each have a roll in the demise of each creature, sad,we're the ones with the brains so they tell us.

yes i heard of it but haven't soon it, we can all make driffrents in what we do . We can turn off the things that we are not using  like toasters ,steros and washing machines and dries when not in us .,you save money as well .

If everyone does there little bit its add up  . Like once a month sunrise ask you turn off thing you are not using even if one light  .so one thing can help save our earth for our kids.

I haven't seen it yet, but am aware of what it is about.  I have made as much of a lifestyle change as i can when I'm working a 40 minute drive from home.  I take my daughter walking to the shop down the road for the paper, milk, fruit and veges.  I have changed our diet so that we are vegetarian (organic wherever possible) although I still use milk, eggs, so we're not vegan.  I have cut down use of anything that takes power.  We have always recycled, but I've found since buying organic fruit and veges, although they don't keep in the crisper for as long, there is no packaging and I just put them all in my handbag to take them back home to stop using plastic bags.  I think if everyone makes small changes, it will add up to a huge difference in the future. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Haven't seen the movie yet. As much fun as swimming in December sounds, I kind of like having 4 seasons.

Regardless of whether or not global warming is an actual problem, protecting the world for our kids is one of the best gifts you can give them.

You don't have to be living green to make a difference. Pick a small lifestyle change like taking the bus once or twice a week. You'll make a difference, I promise.
