we use dr brown's bottles.  even though there are an extra two parts to wash and sterilise, they are fantastic and have stopped lachlan spitting up so much bm.

I only use NUK bottles and teats. They are a bit expensive but never had a problem with wind. I was told at a baby clinic group by the nurses and other Mothers not to bother with the cheap one's.

I used the MAM bottles which come in the different colours pink, blue, yellow or purple. I thought they were great as close to natural teats and they also had the holes in the bottom of the bottle so that the air went out instead of in baby belly reducing the wind problem when he was younger. Avent are ok as well a lot of my friends use them.

I used avent but found that the teets wore away very quickly and to buy them were very expensive....also the screw on things got to the point where they would leak..... this happened after about 5 months.
I now use dymples and they are fantastic..... I have had them since emily was about 6 Months of age..... and they haven't really worn either.
They are reasonably priced as well!

I never used them, but from working in the younger groups at childcare, I think that PUR, Avent and Nuborn are the most popular ones.  I like that the Avent ones have a top on them so the bottle or the sipper cup top can go over the top. We have one who sometimes wants the bottle, sometimes wants a sipper cup so all we have to do is change the top to the sipper type one and he's happy and it's done quickly for him.
