I think you CAN do it, it's a matter of finding an advocate to help you. Doctors often won't take the time or what they consider a risk to encourage VBACs but if you find some support, you can do it. I have friends that have and have been thrilled. If you don't get support from your doctor, try looking for a Doula and/or a Midwife.

Best of luck!!

i've had two c-sections, as well. the first was an emergency due to baby stress and the second was an elective (i wasn't about to go through all the craziness again!) anyway, i'm planning on having another baby in the next couple of years and i'll definitely go c-section again. i think it's a personal choice you need to make after careful thought and weighing of the pros and cons. although, i'm sometimes a little wistful that i never gave birth the natural way, at the same time, i consider myself lucky that i've had two mostly uncomplicated c-section deliveries. good luck!

Welcome to minti! i Have had 2 c sections and been told after my first i couldnt have any children natly. My sister in the other hand had her first 2 c section and then had 2 natuaral. It all depends on why you had 2 c sections to begin with my sister 1st pooed why water was broken so had to have c section and the second time labour was to long  and the baby was in great stress. Her other two was nat and she always tells people if she was to have any more please give to her nat. the pain factor is greater at at birth but it goes as soon as baby is delievered but c section is a pain that last a long time and much more problems afterwards. Dont know if this will help. Good luck and if you want to go nat and there isnt any medical reason why you cant go for it!

Hi there and welcome to minti. I do hope you enjoy your stay, and stay for a very long time.

I've only got the one child and had a c section, and my SIL has had c sections, and a natural, and it all went well. No problems with her at all. Good luck in giving birth naturally this time around.
