now she sleeps well, but we don't!

Has anyone experienced this, your baby starts sleeping better, but then you feel tired all the time b/c you're used to not getting sleep and all the sudden you get a ton of sleep? I feel awful b/c I think I am sleeping too much. We started going to bed VERY early when she was tiny just in case she had a bad night.

Don't you just hate that! My son changed his sleep pattern frequently within the first 12 months, so I'm with you on this. You're thankful you can get more sleep, but somehow your body wakes you up. You will adjust to the change soon enough.

yes, it's normal, it will pass!

I think it's your body going, "yippee, lets make hay while the sun shines", or "get your head down now and sleep, who knows when it's going to end".

And as she could start teething any time, or get a cold, or any number of other sleep-disturbers, I recommend you sleep as much as you can! Mine is teething - gone backwards in the sleep department - yawn!

Don't feel guilty because youre getting too much sleep. Get as much sleep as you can, and rest heaps. It's great that youre getting alot of sleep now. Don't feel bad by it. We've all done it. :)

One can never get too much sleep as far as I am concerned! I think that it does take some getting used to when your child begins a new sleep pattern but in this case thank you lucky stars and just let yourself sleep!!!!!

Yep!  I hear you!  Its like your body gets used to surviving on minimal sleep so it forgets that sleep is important but as soon as you start gettting a good nights sleep your body remembers what it is and wants MORE!!! I have that, I just get used to not sleeping then he starts sleeping through again and I feel more tired.  Babies are a nightmare sometimes arent they?

I go to bed at 9.30 every night because he starts his day at about 5-6am, I hate going to bed so early, I used to be up til midnight most nights watching dodgey tv and getting some peace and quiet, but now I only get an hour after my eldest son goes to bed and then I am in bed myself.  It feels like a never ending work week.
