Hi. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good work from home ideas that don't cost a fortune to start up & actually make you money? I won't go back to work out of home as I don't want to miss my boys grow up but some extra money coming in would be nice. We can manage fine on my husbands wage but some extra to spend on the kids would be great!
Hi, it all depends if you want to make a little or a lot of money as to how much you spend on your business.I have tried a lot of internet businesses and lost a lot of money and all I got in return was $18.04 US. But being a mother of 3 money was tight and finding the right work was hard. I have just found a business now that I can work around my kids, Talk to real people right here in Australia and the business doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. if you want more information click here
or just send me an email asking for more info. This information is free.

I just wanted to inform you that I have some advice on my profile and I have also added a few companies on the list. I will be adding more soon. You can also visit my website if you'd like to sign up for my newsletter.
I have been working from home for the last 10 years and raised my special needs son as a work from home dad. The startup was very small compared to any traditional business that I had ever looked at and the company support and personal coaching was and still is phenomenal. Your income is tied directly to your efforts and learning and you can determine the hours you wish to work. Great flexibility around the kids. You can check it out at www.NoBoss.com.au Download their free report and if you wish to get detailed info check out there 'getting started' page. At this point any outlay is refundable until you decide whether or not it is for you. Hope this helps. All the Best. Cheers
I have sold a few things on ebay but I have a 20 month old boy & a 14 week old boy so most of the clothes are going to be usefull for the younger! Thanks for the idea
i'm not sure what area you are from you may not have heard of this.....
my sister in-law paid about $50,000 to become a twinkle toes rep and she's doing great she's been doing it for about 8 months or so and is close to making that amount back. That's one option
or in some areas you can do a child care from home (ie) after school hours care it doesn't pay much but would be fun my eldest goes to one of these i just call home care away from home i pay $4 an hours for her to be there which isn't alot
This does sound like a great opportunity but we are really not in a possition to pay out that much to start a business. As I said we are doing fine on my husbands wage, it would just be nice to have that little bit extra to play with! Thanks
Family day care, ebay, avon, tupperware, homeware, undercover wear... the list goes on
The one good thing I can say about Tupperware is you have NO upfront cost and the starter kit comes out of your parties. Then if you dont like it after your 4 starter parties you get to keep the kit you paid for out of your parties.
Family Day Care is another really good idea. You get to make some money by looking after your kids and others. You children will also get to socialize :) Check it out here
Sounds a little cliche, but have you thought about Avon? Good exercise dropping off catalogues to everyone. If this isn't a goer, then what did you do before you had kiddliwinks? Can you do similar work from home over the internet?
I was a Pharmacy/Dispensary Assistant & Natural Medicine consultant before I had kids. I have looked into a few Natural Medicine businesses I could do from home but they all have startup costs - I don't know if it is really worth it or not - you never know if the member statements they show you are true or not!
I'm in he exact position as you are, i do not want to leave my son to go back to work. Im actually starting up a family day care buisness as this will not only bring in some extra $ but it will give my son time to be with other children aswell. I love kids and think that this is a fantastic idea. If your not needing a full time wage then only take 2 or 3 children. Its possible to have up to 7 children in your care at the one time. It will definatly be full on but im excited about the idea. If this is something that intrests you let me know and i can email you the details.
Yes Family Day Care is good but remember you have to have strict safety guidelines adhered to and safety7 checks done also. I only know thi sas my children are in family day care at the moment. Depending on which state you are in if you have your own pre-schooler under school age this is then you can only have 3 more pre-schoolers in your care. then i think you are allowed to have up to 3 school age as well as the pr-schoolers. depending on how many children you have will also depend on how many you can care for in your home. It is a great idea family day care as parents can feel safe knowing their children are being care dfor by a parent not just someone who has no children and has learnt what they know from a book!!!! Good luck and happy hunting
Hi, thanks I would definetly be interested in something like this. We are in a rural area & the closest childcare is 30 minutes away so it could do quite well. Would love for you to email me some info. I will send you my email address.
