Do you live in a double story place? I found that making a few extra trips up and down the stairs made a huge difference! I kept all bubs things in her bedroom (upstairs) but she was always downstairs with me during the day so when I needed wipes, nappies, towels, clothes etc I had to go up there to get them and then go up again to put things back. I also drank lots of water and snacked on fruit. This was after 2nd bub and I got back to usual weight in about 6 weeks. Good luck!

All I can say worked for me is breastfeeding, walking and water play.  i didn't gain any weight through the pregnancy but that's what helped with the jelly-belly.

Losing baby weight..

Hi

Im in the same position as you, my son is now 4 and a half months old and i just cant seem to get rid of the last 5 kgs Not all c-sections end up with the pudge on the tummy tho, i had an emergency ceaser and my tummy has gone back to normal (still cant believe it) but i cant seem to shift the last 5. Are you still breat feeding? There is alot of diff opinions as to wether breast feeding really helps a woman to loose the baby fat but i totally agree that it does help as otherwise i wouldnt have lost anything (im a total lounge lizard) I have a cross trainer (gotta find the motivation to start using the damn thing) and apparently its just as good as running as its the same motion and speed just without the impact so its alot easier aswell, and they always say if you want to loose fat that running is best.

Good luck

Well i have had ten  children and believe me i wanna know how to lose it too!! lol lol I have just realised that i have what looks like teenage puppy fat lol lol. I have had ten children and two of them were by c-section. I did not realise that with c-section you end up with rolls upon rolls of excess fat called an apron.. I have asked my dr about this and i found out that due to me having c-sections and they actually push the fat up and forget ha to put it back where they got it from that i am eligible to get a tummy tuck on medicare. Not that you want that but i know how you feel. with my first two i lost it straight away but after that forget it i had trouble. How many children do you have?? walking is great so is playing with your baby in a way that oyu use your stomach muscles as this tightens them and in no time you realise that you have lost something. that being the excess from birth. hope this has helped. If i have said anything neg i am sorry in advance as i do not want to seem uncaring. Hope you lose it let me know how when you do please!! thanks lol

12 weeks isnt a long time ,, your body had to go through soo many changes for 9 months and after ,, breast milk etc,, so not all bodys and pregencys will be the same with loosing the weight ,, my first i started off at 50 kilos and went up to 69 kilos and lost the weight 3 months later ,, my second twins started off again at 50 kilos and i put on 20 kilos and left hospital at 45 kilos the last one 50 kilos and put on 15 kilos and now under 50 kilos ,, see all are differnt in my case ,, being active helps walking i found put less strain on me ,, breast feeding also helped me drop the weight ,, also keep in mind that all our bodys wont look the same for while even if we loose the weight quickly our bodys will still take time to tighten up also ..

take baby out for walks with the pram when you can ,, some people do sit ups

i cant really do them that much because of my spine

lots of my exercize was within the house work ,, like vacumeing its the movment that helps tighten things up ,, washing windows

what i also got was the slimmy undies the ones that pull the tummy in etc,, as you loose weight they help keep you all together with your mussles etc,, my doc recomended them after i had my baby and even know they dont look great they actually do help while you are looseing weight ..

theres no miricle cure  just do what you can when you can xxxxxxxxxxx

i have three girls and i have a great metablism so as for my experience it was good but i still did have a bit of puppy fat so to speak and like you wasn't happy about it one bit hehe
my advice is to keep busy always try and do your best at everything even though it's tough with a baby and you get tired alot easier now but i just kept moving all the time until i needed to rest, take walks when ever you can this will help but you have just had a baby 12 weeks ago? so it might take a little time we have all gone through this one way or another and it's just about time, don't be to worried as your weight is the last thing you should be worried about as you now have a beautiful baby now who will love you regardless of how much you weigh
good luck sweetie and please keep ur chin up k mwah xx

True, I mean I can see ity comimg off slowly and ur right about doing everything with effort to increase the dropping off. I just get annoyed at looking at pictures, I only have 7kg to go but still I wish there was some kind of pill man....I've walked around that park so many times and sometimes I worry about my safety out and about especially since tonight on the news a lady and her 3mth old were attached with a screwdriver and robbed for her bag....I better stick to walking around the clothesline

whoa stick with the clothes line, it's so bad these days to get out and about it's getting to the point where we can't even leave our own house grrr, i'll just have to stick a brick in my handbag i reckon lol, but it might be a bit heavy to lift argh can't win
wow 7 kg what are you worried about skinny min lol i hope i didn't offend you then, it will happen and you'll be in better shape than you were before so good luck and keep us informed

there are heaps of  "play" exercises that you can do with baby. they are all gentle and have mainly you holding bubs and using their weight as a weight and a reason. i used to put Alex on my knees lying on my back and do sort of sit ups, and before a feed if he was not to fussy i used to lift him up above my head. or you can do a few things while they are having tummy time and naps if you have time.

good luck and with a bit of work it will come off.
