hi there!

We have dial up as apparently we cant get broad band as yet. We are with Lizzy and pay $8.90 a month with no contracts or limits on usage ect. I dont find it that slow and we have never had any probs compared to mum who is with telstra (broad band).

Hope this helps

cheers JO

Hi Kellz!  It really depends on your usage and whether you are broad band or dial up.  To find out your usage - some companies calculate it in hours, some in MB.  You should be able to find out through your current provider how much you use.  Then you know what to look for with a new company.  Most companies seem to be about the same for the first bracket but change when you go up from there.  We are with Telstra and they are quite expensive, but we have a package on home phone, mobile and internet (something else to consider perhaps).  Hope that helps.

Well we were using iinet, (iinet.com.au) great net provider we were using dsl2 and for 60gig a month we were paying $70. But we have now moved to a cable area and switched to optus as we bundled our mobile with the net and are still paying the same price just with a faster connection speed

I have Optus Cable Broadband $67 a month (3 months free) with 36 Gb downloads a month. Optus also have a page where you can work out the best options for you at

Hey Kell,

I was very confused as to who to go with when I first started up too. The main thing to watch for is your usage. I am currently with AAPT and my deal is I am not on any contracts, I have 15,000mbs of usage (which I don't even come close to!) and it costs me $39 a month.

Check them all out, go with what is best for you. Have a good one..

Stace
