Braxton hicks?

I am nearly 33weeks pregnant, over the last couple weeks when im walking i get these cramp like feelings in my lower stomach, on the line where low-cut jeans would sit, right under my belly. They only last a few seconds then stop for a couple min then come back again, once i sit down and rest they stop, or if i stop walking they normally stop as well.I have a dr appointment next week, but my mother thinks they are just braxton hicks..what do you think.?

Braxton hicks?

hi, im 36 weeks and am having the same thing, dr says just braxton hicks and because its my 4th baby im more sensitive to them, having said that watch for the length and consistency, a real contraction will last much longer than a braxton hicks and more painful.

good luck the end is near, i dont know about you but im about done with the waiting now!!!

Braxton hicks?

it sounds like braxton hicks but it is better to be safe then sorry RIGHT???  I can tell you this i was about 30-31 weeks when i started getting then didn't think much of it then after say a week they started to get worse to the point where i couldn't walk without help from my partner ended up going to maternity wing at my hospital and found out that it was primature labour and had to be stopped.

I'm not sure how things work where you are but your next appointment should be at 34 weeks with either your GP or at maternity ask about it then but if really concerned don't hessitate to go to the hospital

Braxton hicks?

sounds like Braxton hicks mainly because they stop when you stop.  Contractions dont stop when you rest if you are in labout.  Still, always best to tell the doctor or ring your midwife if you have any concerns.

How exciting, though.....time is getting near and

Braxton hicks?
If it's irregular it's Braxton Hicks, if there is regularity to it then it's the real deal.  Of course see a doc if you are worried.
