Can you *please* help me?

I would like to start a project and hope to get the Minti community behind it.

For the entire month of May I would like all members to be extremely friendly.

For example, go out of your way to..

Welcome new members with a direct message.
Be positive in your comments you make on the Minti site.
Be supportive of other members ideas.
hold back from getting into an argument on Minti. Maybe message them direct rather than ranting in front of the entire community.
etc etc

I think you get the idea now?

SO... CAN YOU HELP ME OUT?

Great to see all the positive responses below

I know it shouldn't be necessary, and it probably isn't necessary, but it sure wont hurt.

I think a lot of it will center around the simple action of adding a comment. People LOVE to receive comments on their Question, blog post, or article they have written. If you are reading something, maybe just make that extra bit of effort to "add a comment". It doesn't even need to be insightful, it could be as simple as "read your article and loved it!", I think this will really help.

??? I really don't understand. I have only met and enjoyed the real people on Minti,isn't that the idea? Or have I missed out on this negitive bit? I thought we were to comfort and support each other when life is a bit much. Slap on a plastic smile? Really ? I think Minti members are pretty wonderful the way they are. Hope I don't offend anyone!!!

hehe coolies... another idea is to get any topical issues to be debated in the controversial issues group... commmmooooooonnnnn peoples it's so lonely there...pmsl... there is also a set of rules for the group members to abide by... seriously i have come to the conclusion that we need to keep the debates out of qa... and stick them where they belong a blog!... it's still public but not in new members faces and the satisfaction of having multiple people enter a debate and give input is a cool idea... serves the same purpose as a chat room or I.M.... :)'s from becca
