Hi there, well im married 3.5 months now, and did a pregnancy test yesterday morning and the night before, there were 2 pink strips but the second strip was very light does that mean i am pregnant or what?
Oh and I wanted to add that the pink coming up is the pregnancy hormone. The farther you are along in the pregnancy, the darker the line will be. So sounds to me like you have caught it early so congrats! I knew at 3 weeks with both my boys :)
preganacy test are apparently impossible to fool they cant say your carrying the pregnancy hormone if your not the faint line indicates that its only just traceable but please beware at this early stage its possible you'll come on (an early misscarraige) most women dont even relise they were pregnant they assume its just a heavy period. GOOD LUCK CHICK hopefully its good news 4 ya xxxx
well yes if u take a test b4 your period is a week overdue they often dont work and if they r light then it just means u r pregnant but havent got a great deal of hormones showing up on th test.
When i was preggo with my daughter, i never had a period for weeks and weeks. i took 5 prggo tests and they all came up negative. I was newly married so alot of wining and dining was happening and at 9 weeks along i found i was pregnant. I was so lucky my wining and dining didnt affect my baby. YES they lie. But yes i think it sounds as if your preggo. I hope this is a congartulations. Go to your dr to be sure.keep us updated
They can lie! With my second pregnancy the first three tests I did (one at the doctors) were negative, we thought I was just unwell then. About 4 weeks after the 3rd test I still felt I was pregnant so did another & it was positive! I was pregnant all along! As already said, they can give false negative but not false positive so CONGRATS!
I had a false positive. Something to do with me being on the Depo needle and it gives some hormones. I dont know I was zoning out when he was explaining it. I was just so relieved. I had been using condoms as well as the needle and it came up positive when I went to get my needle topped up after 2 months! I FREAKED! Blood tests confirmed it was a negative.
Yes they can! my gyno told me that Home pregnancy tests can be wrong, they generally are not, but they can be. They can be defective (very rare) or your body just isn't putting off the enough hormones for the test to read. I also have a friend who had the blood test done and it came back negative but is 19 weeks along and was pregnant when they tested her. She was shocked but the gyno told her it can happen. Just try again in a few days, make sure that you do it first thing in the morning. I found that if you get a disposable cup like in a gyno office and pee in it then do the test from that helps....Hope that this helps you.
i was 8 weeks pregnant before my tests would come back positive even a blood test told me i wasnt at 6 weeks iif the test came back witha faint line do one 3 days later in the morning and see what happens
I was told to do 3 tests over a few days, each one done first thing in the morning and see what they all say. They can be wrong, but if it has 2 solid lines, chances are you are pregnant. One solid and one faint it's hard to tell, I'd do a number of tests and go from there. Or just have a blood test.
I've had a pregnancy test done, and it said i wasn't pregnant, but 2 weeks later went to the doctors for something else, and he came back and said i was pregnant.
Hi there, A lot of people will say that a positive test doesn't lie. However while I was trying to get pregnant I did a whole heap of tests and a few of them would come up with a very faint second line. So I would do another and they would be negative.I think the best thing to do would be to wait a few days and try another one. Good luck with everything.
Ah, I've heard this before. It might be best to wait a couple of days and do another test--if you're pregnant, the hormones get stronger and stronger and would produce a clearer result.
Doesn't matter if the second line is as faint as faint, it just means you have found out within a week or two of conceiving and the hormones (I forget which ones it reads) are not that full up yet.
Darling you are up the duff.....Full of arms and legs.....You have at least one bun in the oven.
Congratulations.
They can give a faulse negative but not a faulse positive....it says so in the folded tiny pamphlet that came with it.....If you are still not sure there should be an information phone number on the box that you can call to confirm this from the horses mouth.
But take it from another extremely faint 2nd blue liner......it was right., I was 17 hours late hahaha. (used to be able to set a NASA clock by my monthly visit from Aunt Ruby)
slight correction, there is one way they can give a false positive and that is if you were very recently pregnant... because the hormones are still in your system but if this is your first then congradulations and :)'s to ya sweetie frum becca you go girl woooooohoooooo!!
It's still showing a pregnancy, so it isn't a false positive. A false positive would be if no pregnancey had ever occured and the test just made it all up and was dead wrong.
