hi all

i was told today that chicken salt can cause cancer weather this is true or not let me no?but if it is omg when i order chips i ask for xxx chicken salt now i am soooo worried.

I wouldnt worry. If everything you here is true then i think we'd be dead by now. Theres so much stuff that people say we will get cancer or some disease from i just think they have nothing better to do so they make stuff up.

Well i went onto snopes.com and checked it out and they say its all lies . . . So i guess its really now up to you . . .

Personally if snopes say NO than I'm with them . . .

I dont know for sure but my guess would be it's laden with 102 - tartrazine (yellow colour, banned in some countries) and with several flavour enhancers which according to Bill Stanthams "A Chemical Maze" can cause brain tumours. Flavour enhancers are usually listed as numbers in the 600s. Please see my advice on Food Additives.

is there anything in the world that doesn't give you cancer these days, i have heard it does but i have also heard that peanut butter does or and so does burnt toast. so i wouldn't be to worried. lol. Brittxxx

Their always seems to be some new cancer scare relating to food, I do not take much notice of it unless their is some really good evidence or lots of studies pointing the same way.

hahahaha don't talk on your mobile phone for too long and don't stare at the microwave for any longer than 3 seconds cos it starts to nuke your brain apparently!!!! hahahaha i dont really believe it but anyway....
maybe too much msg causes cancer!!!! that i can believe! if one rollup can make a 4 yr old hyperactive, then a whole packet could kill ya ( me being the hyperactive kid....i am allergic to msg in huge amounts!)

Hi matey I used to love chicken salt mmmmm yummy.....

But after eating it alot myself (the yellow salt) I found out I had an allergy to msg and it seems the yellow salt is full of it...I have never heard the cancer thing but I do know it is msg...Be interesting to know if it is supposed to along with probably a million other things we eat LOL....
