health food section
if you check out the health food section in your supermarket you'll find there is a wide variety,or you can just make your own, just do not add any dairy, if you need butter just put in a margarine that is dairy free

I agree
with Rach making your own is a great way to go as then you know what is going into the biscuits.I find using vanilla soy, along with apple concentrate(instead of sugar)(pure no additives)works a treat. You can also use a couple of spoons of olive(or canola)instead of margerine if you need to.Good luck hugs Crystal

lactose intoletant

hi there georgiepar,

both my kids are lactose intolerant, my 7yr old can only have the smallest amount b4 it triggers her. my 2 yr old he can have quite abit b4 it triggers anything.

In regards to your question about biccies. I found it safer to cook my own for the kids, using there special milk and marg an so on. You can basiclly use any recipe, all you do is substitute cows milk for a lactose free version, along with the marg and any other dairy things in the ingredience.  I once bought a box of "lactose FREE" cookies from a health food store. My daughter only had 2 biccies, we spent all that night up. so just be careful what you buy. alot of packages say lactose FREE but would trigger my kids. I know how horrible it is watching your child/ren in pain.

It does get easier as you work out what they can and cant eat. once you know that, and they are old enough to know what they can and cant eat, its a breezze.

Good Luck

Outback Animals by Orgran brand.  Gluten free, wheat free, dairy free, egg free, yeast free, GMO free, soy free, nut free.  $360 a box from health food shops.  The box is about the same size as a tiny teddies box and they taste similar to tiny teddies too.  They are chocolate flavoured.
