I'm glad you are going for a pap smear.  It's the best thing to do. Now I have to get up the courage to have it done

I had to have grade 2 abnormal cells removed from my cervix a year ago.

I have never been sexually promiscous either. HPV is not the only ways for these cells to form. It is just ONE of the ways.

I was absolutely terrified to go for pap smears, petrified to get a biopsy & then i had to get surgery. It was extemely scary YES..

But better then dying of cancer !

Your doing the right thing.

good on you for going,i would hate for you not to and something bad was found!its such a big deal.if you have a female doc thats fine,if you have a male doc a female nurse comes in or go to a gyno

i no friends who didn't feel comfortable went to the womens clinic if that helps

i mentioned about being with the one partner i didn't mean it to come across they way it seemed,i was trying to say i had 1 partner and they still found cin3 thats all sorry if i hurt your feelings

I am glad,I was very nervous about getting Pap smears and ended up having to be anethetized(sp) to get one done.....I wound up not getting one for quite a number of years........ I nearly died I no longer had an ovary but a cancerous growth.....Pap smears are not pleasant at all but neither is dieing.Well done on your decision Hugs to you Crystal
