could be heat rash? Something else I have learnt too is if you have a digi cam or a camera phone take photos of it then show the doctor.

My daughter has VERY fair skin and when she over heats she often gets spots.  recently she did get a viral spotty thing called Rosello (I think) anyway we took the emergancy as we thought it may have been chicken pox & she'd been around 3 prego women & we were concerned for them.  Any way the Dr. got out this booklet and showed us, it had about 5 differnet (slightly) types of Ïnfant rashes" He said that if it is not acompanied by a temp (ours had no temp) and if when you place your fingers on either side of the spot and spread the spot gently, if it fades, you have nothing to worry about, it is probably a benign virus that will take a few days to a week to dissapear on its own.  It can be acompanied by slight irritability (ours was).. I'm not saying it's the same one as ours only goes on the childs trunk, not extremity's, but it could well be one of the other things or it could just be a heat flush (which is my gut feeling) especially if they fade quickly when he is cooled down.  is he pale skined?  I wouldn't worry unless they have a pustule look, stay permanately and are acompanied by a temp and lethargy.

hi there. My daughtrer gets exactly what you have described. I am not overly concerned as it doesnt seem to be giving her grief (she is almost 2 and she would certainly let me know if it was) but just to be sure i rub some QV cream on her legs arms belly and back which is great stuff!!! I have used it since she was first born as she had dry skin.

Hi there,

I agree with merlin0903, in regards to the washing powder. My partner gets a rash if u use certain washing powders. This was the 1st thing i thought when reading your question. I thought it was a weird answer at 1st then i read that merlin had already posted it. good minds think alike hey LOL.

Sorry cant think of anything else could be. Oh other than maybe if you could take a photo of the rash either on your phone or on digital camera if your still worried about it, 2 show the doctor. Not sure if  this will work but can only try.

 Rach

Do you
have itchy(hairy grubs anywhere near by?) cause if they get on your clothing when it is on the line and get caught up in it the hairs can go into the clothes,We had a lot of them in the trees where we were living and it was such a problem we had to hang our clothes else where.Try bi carb in his water to ease it or a bicarb paste on the rash Hugs Crystal

My daughter used to get this red rash that was raised a little bit, and all i used to do was put a touch of vitamin e cream on there, and cold water.
