I've just been to the supermarket and noticed they sell ointments to bathe nappy rash because it will sting if your using baby wipes, id stop using all bath products etc and once the rash has gone re introduce each product one by one to determine which is causing the rash.

Baby wipes arnt as gentel as you think id run out of makeup wipes so used the babys wow did it sting i went all blochy lol. hope that helps jo xxx

Hi,If you don't think it is harmful to her ,buy  the same brand nappy and detergent again  that you used before the rash started and start using them again and see if the rash goes.If it does you know not to buy that brand again.I could not use biozet laundry det. with my son as he had a similar reaction to it.If really concerned take her to the GP to get it checked out.

with kids i would never 2nd guess, straight to the doc's is what i would say.

but it could be a reaction to the powder. i would go and get a cream from the doc or use paw paw cream

Sorry but nappy rashes can spread if what is causing it isn't stopped.

My advice would be to go straight back to the old washing powder as this sound as it it may be the cause. Some washing powders contain way more chemicals than others.

You should also visit your local Dr as your little one may need some antihistamine cream, especially if it is an allergic reaction.

Hunni as far as I know nappy rash doesn't spread like that... I would be taking him to the Doc tomorrow... good luck

If your worried have it checked by the Dr, but my daughter just had a virus and came out in a rash like that, started on her bottom and on her back, tummy, under her arms within a day she was completely covered.  She was fine and in no danger just  a viral rash, she had no other symptoms either just the rash xx

I would near bet he is having a reaction to the change in wash powder,it sounds more like hives to me.hugs Crystal
