Re: Headaches

Hi i hope this post finds you well.

May I suggest a massage by a Remedial Massage Therapist or if you and your husband can spare 15 mins for him to massage your neck and head to relieve your headaches.

I hope this helps you.

Kind regards

Re: Headaches
instead of lavender oil try Peppermint oil.  It worked most of the time.  And if it don't then use the oil on your light bulbs when you turn on the light and have a peppermint smelling room :)

Re: Headaches

Hi I hope this post finds you well.

in regards to using peppermint oil PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT USE PEPPERMINT OIL WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT IT STIMULATES LABOUR!!

You only use pure peppermint oil when you are due to have your baby.  I respect that you used peppermint oil during your pregnancy but it is highly unadvisable there should be a warning on the label in regards to using peppermint oil.

Kind regards

Re: Headaches
hang in there i had the same the first trimester   when i hit the second trimester  they started to go away and not get them as much   at first i cut out all caffine and the dr told me one soda a day would be okay  and that quitting it cold turkey would give me caffine withdrawl headaches  i would take 2 tylenols (i think the same as panadols) and drink a glass of soda and that seemed to help  also drinking ALOT of water i found helps to keep the headaches away also

Re: Headaches
Hi, I had headaches a bit with both my pregnancies - not as bad as you though! There is a product called A Little Bit Of Headache Relief that worked well for me. You can get it at chemists - if they don't have it ask if they can get it. It is all natural oils and comes in a little bottle with a roller on it that you just roll onto certain pressure points. It might help you - I hope so!

Re: Headaches
with my first pregnancy (Alex) I had headaches all through but i didnt have a job (knee probs and couldnt handle the weight) so i slept 90% of the time and took panadol.

but i would first drink more water and make sure you have enough minerals ect that your body needs, i found they decreased when i started the pregnancy herbal tabs from the chemist (think it was blackmores but there are heaps now)

lavender i dont find helps with headaches, you could try magnets if you wanted or see the chemist and or your doc.
