Re: monthlys after birth

Yes everyone is different. Personally I got mine back about 5-6 weeks after mydaughter weined.  One of the ladies in my mothers group stopped breast feeding over 2 months ago and there are still no sight of them.

So you really have no need to worry, but if you are, or if there is a chance you may be pregnant again, then perhaps see you doctor. Even if it is just to ease your mind.

Re: monthlys after birth
I got mine back 7 days after weaning my daughter at 3.5 months.  However I wasn't producing enoguh in the first place, so my hormones were probably out of whack.  Everyone is different though.  The blessing I had was that from then until this last one, they were not painful I forgot I had them and didn't know they were coming, no sore boobs or any of that, I did want choc and got teary though, but the physical effects only came back this last tiem (mores the pitty) and my baby is a couple of weeks from 18 months.

It varies from person to person.  I know people who have had their period back within the first 6 months of giving birth and they're exclusively breastfeeding.  My child weaned herself at 2.5 years and she was 3 before mine came back.  There was absolutely no possibility of being pregnant either.

Libby is correct it does take time for your body to adjust back to normal. And it does depend on your hormone levels etc.As usual though when in doubt go see your Doctor Hugs Crystal xx

Re: monthlys after birth
it really depends on the hormone levels i think.
my SIL got here while still breast feeding and my MIL got her's the next day after she stopped feeding my hubby at 18 months.

i went straight on to the pill with my son and daughter and then onto the depo shot with my daughter.

if you are worried i would see your doc.
