my first son started crawling like around 7-8 months and walking at 10 1/2 months old. and then my second son started the army crawl (on his tummy) around 9 months and is starting to crawl on all fours , he is 11 months old. he can pull up on furniture, but every now and then he forgets he has to hold and and he falls. :( if any one has any advice on how to get him to start walking please let me know, you can email me at sugar_n_spice627@bellsouth.net . thank ya.
Cole did not crawl untill 11 MONTHS!! He was a chunky little thing! I thought he would never crawl! My girls both crawled around 8 months. My nephew was crawling at 5 months. I guess you never know! They will do it when they feel like it.....although my daughter did roll to get where she wanted for about a month first....
my son crawled at 5.5 months and didn't sit until about 8 months (he taught himself as I dont believe in sitting them up) and my daughter was 7 months and she sat not long after.
Alex was about 8 months and Charlie was about 6 months i think.
they both started really differently. My nephew was almost 9months and didnt actually crawl he did the army crawl-drag then walked
My baby is also 7 months old. She has been dragging herself around for quite a while, but only recently started getting up on all 4's. She still isn't crawling preperly either, but she is trying. All my others varied, my 1st crawled at 4 months and all the rest between 6 and 8 months before they were crawling properly.
7 months, no worries!!! Harrison started commando crawling at 11 months, crawling on all 4's at 13 months and now at almost 16 months is just starting to walk. You have got heaps of time before you need to worry!
by about 6 months my son was dragging himself around, he looked like he was a dog with worms scratching his butt on the ground.. Then by about 7 1/2 months he figured out that it was faster to crawl on all fours... :)
My oldest was getting around on his toes and hands (doind push-ups!) from about 5 1/2 months. He started taking steps at 8 months but realised he could crawl properly and it was faster! He didn't walk a lot after that until 11 months & then he just ran everywhere! My second is almost 5 months old and doind the "swimming" thing while on his tummy - I think he'll be off and crawling in no time! All kids are different, but once they get it there's no stopping them! Have fun!
All four of my children were crawling by about 6 - 7 months and walked at 11-12 months.It was funny to watch all the different ways they learnt to crawl.She will be crawling around everywhere in no time , and getting into everything lol .
Both my kids went from crwaling position not crawling to walking. Annaliese was 9 1/2 months went she desided just to let go of the couch and walk and katherine was 9 months when she did the same thing. i would of prefered them to crawl first but it didnt work like that, just had to face the facts they were going to be running everywhere early.
Mine was a freak. She was crawling by her first christmas and was 4.5 months, but started about a week before that. It's not something you have to worry about, my brother never crawled but walked from 8 months. Skipped the crawling stage entirely. My younger brother did the commando crawl from 6 months to 9months then walked, never crawled on hands and knees. I'm the only one out of my mum's kids who crawled properly and that was at nearly 8 months. She'll either get the hang of it, or she'll skip it entirely.
once she gets the hang of it you won't be able to stop her, but don't worrie to much about it she'll get there in the end.
charlie didn't start crawling until he was 11months old and he really didn't get the hang of it until his 1st birthday, but once he knew how to he was off and crawling and there is no stoping him now, but now he is at that stage of trying to stand by himself as well as trying to walk by himself too, once he works that out well there will be no stoping him
my son was crawling backwards at about 11 months he walked when he was a year old,, my twins started to crawl at about 10 months well one of them did try it everyday while the other one just watched him all the time and when it cane time he never crawled he just got up and walked while the other was was still in practice mode
Mine started commando crawling at about 8months and normal crawling at about 9.5. I have a friend who's baby is 10months and hasnt started crawling yet. Some kids bipass crawling all together and go straight to walking.
from 7 monyhs hes been doing that army crawl he's quick too he can crawl now nine months but i thinks chooses not to because he's faster the army way hehe. Don't worry all kids differ some never crawl there just born walkers jo xx
