SAFTY IN YOUR OWN YARD

Hi well on the 28th at around about 11:25pm i was taking my dog out for a pee before we go to bed, when there was this neighbour who was comming home from a night on the BEER.

He came over to me and my dog and my dog could sence there was something wrong with her, so I told her to come back and he came over to me and pushed me on to my grass for no reason, saying i was supposed to call the police about something about his dogs?

I tried to tell him that I didn't know nothing about it but my other neighbour who is a christian person who goes to church and stuff like that just stood on his doorstep and watched everything happen.

This bloke was about 6ft and me i stand about 5ft 9 and the christian neighbour didn't even bother to help out although he know's him really well I yelled out to him to please call the police and he was still standing on his front steps watching this happen.

Well if it wasn't for my dog who was taking a wee she was barking at him trying to keep him away.

I sometime have no love for my dog , but now my dog is my savour i love her like i love my wife and family

Re: SAFTY IN YOUR OWN YARD

this is nuts i would have freaked out, my dog is a male and very protective i guess i would have called for the police too. i would have kicked him in the you know whats and run like stink.  if you are really freaked about all this i would suggest taking up karate or another form of self defence, as i found it reassuring when i started to work later shifts at the restaurant and had to walk to the car park knowing people were drinking in the area. treat your dog really well and they will treat you great back and will back you

Thanks for your comment, but taking judo or something like that wont hurt this man cause if you saw this man you would be terrified just from the site of him.

He terrifies me but what gets me is the police didn't do nothing at all

Re: SAFTY IN YOUR OWN YARD

Hi Scott,

Thats not a nice way to spend the evening.  maybe you need to start up a neighbourhood watch in your area, and then your christian neighbour might actually learn on how to be neighbourly as well as christian.....I hope this is the kind of answers you were looking for, as I couldn't really find a question.  For future refference, this kind of writing is probably best put in your blog as this area is for parenting questions.  Welcome to Minti though, I'm guessing you're libby's other half.  well done in joining in.
