Re: pillows

I didn't give my kids pillows in their cots because of concerns about SIDS.  But when they moved to a big bed they got pillows and doonas for the first time.  My eldest would have been about 22 months when she got her first pillow (and moved to a big bed) and my youngest would have been about 2 and a half.

Re: pillows
hi there! I used a pillow from three weeks due to my first child being sick and she had to be propped up. And wen she got better i still cont to use it. My second child i used it within three weeks and that made her sleep through the night. I'd put the pillow under the fitted sheet as hospital told me to do that if i was going to continue with using a pillow. They do not suggest it so early and i wouldnt either but in my case with my first i had no choice. second child wasnt sleeping through the night so i tried it and it worked but htey say about 18months plus.

Re: pillows
We gave our oldest a cot/baby pillow when he moved to the "big bed" at 15 months. Our youngest is almost 6 months & won't have one until he goes into his bed.

Re: pillows
I gave my daughter one when she started daycare at 19 months but she didn't use it to sleep with as she never had a sleep at daycare.  Her first pillow for sleeping was when she was 2.
