What's going on?

I am wondering if any one else has had this problem. I stopped breastfeeding nearly 11 months ago. Last cycle, prior to my period, my breasts started leaking colostrum. I thought I may be pregnant, but then got my period as usual. They are starting to leak again now. What could possibly be going on???Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Re: What's going on?

YES I've had a bit of colustrum coming out too! I stopped breastfeeding Isabella 9.5mths ago, so thought it was weird it started happening lately. I thought I was pregnant too, and since we're trying to conceive our 2nd child right now, took it as a positive sign! But I ended up getting my period  and am on day 9 of my cycle. The colustrum is still there! Agh! Good to know I'm also not alone in this! Kylie

Re: What's going on?
my milk wouldnt go for  a coupple of years . cabbage leaves placed on the breast is ment to dry them up ( it didnt work for me though but does for others) i was always getting a let down everytime  a baby in the street was crying . i also went to a doctor he gave me meds to dry them up ( that also didnt work with me ,, but also will with others ) it will eventually dry itself up but also when in doubt its always best to go have a chat with your doctor to just make sure everything is running smoothly with your body etc,,

Re: What's going on?

Its all good, I was the same with my children, Having a small amount left in the breast at least 6 months minimum after I had stopped breastfeeding.

If u are woried, consult ur GP, but as a mum of 5, it was normal for me.

Many thanks for that! I expected some milk after I stopped the "goodnight " feed but not this late in the picture!

haha your abnormal!

No jokes. I did that till about 1 1/2 years after I stopped. Just occasionally and just a very small amount.
