Anyone an AVON Representative???

Hi there

Im thinking of becoming an AVON representative. I thought since im a stay at home mum, maybe i can make a little money to help out the family. I was wondering if anyone out there is already one and can tell me how they are doing with it and if it is worth it. I sort of talked to my husband about it but he isnt very supportive of it...

I really hope to hear from some people...

Thanks

Hi,

I'm a representative.  So far it is going very well.  Pretty much you just let people know that you are do avon.   Here's my web address.  You can call me or email me.  http://kristinaolds.avonrepresentative.com/

What ever you decide I hope that it goes well.

I was one, quit because I lived out in the coutry and it was too time consuming for me to travel 30 minutes into the nearest town to deliver and pickup orders and brochures. If I lived in town I would still be doing it though as it is good money and helps you to save if you really like the products.

Re: Anyone an AVON Representative???

Honestly I don't know anyone that has done well out of Avon, but I'm sure people do. I have just started a home business with a company that is brand new to Australia and you don't have to sell the products - you can if you want to though. If you would like to know more just minti mail me.

Re: Anyone an AVON Representative???
I know one rep. here in Canada that does very well. She says the first year makes or breaks new people coming in. You hussle to get your client list as large as you can handle and weed out the non-payers. She says she hoards her samples and gives them to good clients as a thank you and that generates more sales. Good Luck!

Re: Anyone an AVON Representative???

If you can sell ice to eskimo's then go for it!

I was one but not for long, I found it to be too time consuming and too much effort. (I know, Im a lazy bugger lol)

But really if you have the time and dont mind putting some effort in, and have a good social network where you think you can make some profits, then go for it, it can be a very profitable income, so long as you are prepared to put the hard yards in.

Re: Anyone an AVON Representative???
I am and yes it is worth it if you put the effort in and really sell your stuff. I only joined to basicly buy for me and a few friends. some orders i make a fair bit and others i am out of poket but i also dont go out and sell my stuff. I have 4 regular costomers that pretty much always buy every campaigne. as a rep you get a lot of info on home to do better and get to buy before its avalible and if you order via the net you have the bargin bin to buy from also where you have stuff the is so cheap. I love doing my Avon and when i am mentally better i plan on making it bigger and better.

I think it is like $20 to join and you get an area if you request one and enough books to cover your first 2 campaignes, a Avon bag and badge and a few little business things. The first few orders you put in you get a whole heap of samples to give out and try to.

Good luck
Liz

P.S. a rep can reconment you and i think you get added things to your kit you get.

Re: Anyone an AVON Representative???
I used to be one and it was good, if you have the control of not spending your earnings on avon products for yourself as thats when its not worth it hehe, as you then think that you are earning for cheaper products for your self..

so heres some tips..

. Make sure that your customers pay when they say they will or you will end up out of pocket.
. also what i have said as above about you purchasing goods..
. Buy in bulk with bags,, slips etc as they are expensive in the long run...

Hope you have fun and there is pros and cons to avon, but its up too each indivial on how you percieve on how you can make it work for you..

the onely reason i gave it up was that i got tired of going backwards and forewards all the time, and it is time consuming  for some....

Good luck..

Re: Anyone an AVON Representative???
Hi

I live in Port Macquarie NSW. When i was visiting my parents on the weekend, my mum suggested i try AVON as she helps out her neighbour who does there area. I spoke to him and he briefly showed me what is involved. He said at first it was a struggle cause he had no one to help him and he learnt from his mistakes with it but at the moment he is doing very well as he has around 200 customers now.... I just wanted to hear from other people who do it and how they are going and if it is worth trying out... Im interested but my husband doesnt seem very supportive at the moment... i guess he will be when he sees the money come in...

Re: Anyone an AVON Representative???

I used to do avon but gave up as it was to easy to just borrow a couple of dollars here and there lol. i know someone who sigfns people up but not sure if she can from so far away. I can ring her and ask if you like, maybe she can recommend someone, otherwise if you look here this will take you to the web site and you can join from there!

Make sure you keep the mney absolutely seperate and dont ever be temjpted to use it... otherwise you end up in un wanted debt. Good luck and have fun!!
