how long?

I have started formula feeding my little girl for the past 3 weeks and was just wondering about how long does it take for the milk to dry up in your breasts?  My hubby got a lovely surprise the other night when he was welcomed with a mouthful of milk LOL!

Re: how long?
Not sure, I had problems feeding my older 3 but I've heard that it can take many months, as much as 6!

Maybe you should use it in his coffee so he can get used to the taste!

Good luck

OMG . . ROFLMAO . . .

Sorry but that is so funny! That'll teach him what NOT to play with . . .

The best way is cold cabbage leaves in your bra and NO stimulation  - So hands off for hubby. Also avoid hot showers and baths.

Cheers Kellz

he he he he sorry ,, place cabbage leaves under your bra that should help with the drying them up naturally ,, or you can go to the doc and opt for pills ,, tell hubby haaaa less stimulation will also dry them up alot faster lol

Re: how long?
It can take a little while - everyone is different. With my oldest I seemed to dry up instantly, but I had been expressing & feeding him with a bottle for 2 months as he refused to drink off me. I am still feeding my second bub & am also wondering what will happen when he is weaned off! There are things you can do to dry it up quicker - cabbage leaves apparently help, and I have heard cold & flu tablets also help. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
