Work At Home

Okay, does anybody know of any LEGITIMATE work at home jobs.  I work part time so I can pick up my kids & take them to their sports stuff.  We recently have found ourselves in a financial bind and I am trying to find a way to supplement my income.  I've tried MLM's and reading ads online, (what a joke), anyways, I hope someone can help me!

Thanks,

Stressed Out

Re: Work At Home

I wanted to let you know that I have an amazing way to make money while staying home to care for your children. Not only are you providing primary rearing, you will be providing a healthy non toxic environment for your family as well. There is an awesome telephone presentation this THURSDAY @ 8:30....I would love all the MOMS to listen and give me feedback...OUR CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE AND WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT....

email me @ MELAMOM08@GMAIL.COM FOR MORE INFORMATION....

NOT AN MLM

Re: Work At Home

Have you tried babysitting from your home? I'm lucky as we have a spare room.  I have done babysitting from home, even overnight with the kids sleeping in the spare room.  I haven't done it for a while as I'm working almost full-time now and it was all too much.  The only problem with that is that it's unreliable income.  Some weeks you may get an extra $150, other weeks you may get nothing at all.  The bonus is that you can keep your kids with you and in their own routine.

I know exactly what you mean though! I have thoughts like that sometimes when I look at my gross income, then my net income, then take out childcare fees, then petrol since I live on the opposite side of town from where I work.  I sometimes think it's not worth it to work! But it's the difference between starving or not starving.

If you have a partner who works through the day, could you do night packing or something while he is home with the kids? Even if it's just a few nights a week, it's good money.  I hope this has helped.

Re: Work At Home

Hi,

Have you thought of going back to school (via correspondence).  Im not sure being in the US if going back to school as an adult that you get paid but being here in Australia, if &/or when you are returning back to full time school (that being either on campus or off campus), we have a system called Austudy (which of course is also means tested) but actually get paid to go and you also keep working part time!

Hope this helps
Good luck

Pop an add in your local paper and Super Market notice board etc. offering your services as a pick up and drop off ironer, next day delivery except on fridays when can be delivered by monday except for Public Holidays.  I did this when I had my first cleaning and child minding service in a small country town when I was 20 (so a million years ago... well, 16 to be exact LOL), at that time I charged $10 per basket (their basket) money up front (saves you dropping off when no ones home and never getting paid... have them stick the cash in an envelope in the basket.  I reckon, I'd happily pay $15-20 AUSD these days especially when I don't have to leave home or even let a stranger into my home.  I could if I was a busy working woman leave on door step folded in basket with money and next day you leave same place but ironed and folded............  even a busy Mum who can't be bothered ironing might find this service useful.    Especially if you have older kids at school you could spare a couple of hours infront of the tv ironing and drop off after the kids are dropped off the next day for school.  Say you can have a deal.... $20- per basket but if regular weekly bookings are charged $15 per basket (this will encourage a regular clientel and a regular budgetable income).  Ten customers per week would be $150.00 thats not a bad start.

Re: Work At Home
I go to seek.com and have found quite a few legitimate jobs.  Put "work from home" into the search bar.  I applied for an at home call centre position the other day.  It was completely legitimate, unfortunately I was unsuccessful.  Give it a go.

Re: Work At Home
I did a paper round with the kids once. You get about 80 to 100 bucks a month for getting a couple of extra days exercise. The worst part is folding them if there are pamphlets but you can do it in front of the TV and if you have kids they can do it too. It isn't much I know but every dollar helps.

Re: Work At Home

Hi, I have just started a home business in the last week & am already starting to take off! It has only just come to Australia but has been in the US for quite a few years. If you are interested in some information please minti mail me and I would be happy to help.
