I've never been i your situation but my brother has after a divorce...being made bankrupt means no credit...sorry bu finding a place is gonna be hard with that against your name he had to change his name by depoll for a while look into all these aspects asap ive no idea how long the paperwork will tk , but even rented propertys do credit checks.

Umm... hate to seem cruel, but yes, it could get worse.

I think that peachynowamum has given the best suggestion. If anyone can help it's a debt company. Don't freak out if they recommend that you claim bankruptcy as sometimes that can actually go in your favour for being able to do things like keep your family home. Get on the phone as soon as you can. If they can't help you, find a similar type of company that will, There are actually quite a few like that out there now.

Good luck with it matey, I know what it's like to be homeless - it aint fun, but there are worse things out there that can happen. Chin up, you will get through this.
