just started my twins on solids

just need a little help just started my twin boys on solids about 4 weeks ago. I heard that you give them prune juice to help soften there poo. Is it true? and if so do i water it down? And how much water to prune juice? One more question they are teething really bad other than the most common solutions any ideas? thanks everyone

Apart from bonjela I used to rub vegemite into their gums when mine were teething. Also soothing for me as well if I get toothache now. Leisa

And you shouldn't need to give them anything to soften their poos unless you feel they may be constipated. Make sure they are having plenty of liquids, either milk or water. This should be sufficient. Leisa

I never gave my daughter anything to soften the poos you shouldnt need too. If their diet is good their poos will be fine. I cant think of any other solution other than panadole that seems to be the most effective with my daughter. Shes only got 4 teeth and she started getting them at 14 months. Shes teething alot atm getting them all in one hit now and panadole and teething rings do the trick.
