I agree with everyone else. They are not blood related, but friends would be nice.

I had the same thing growing up (and it wasn't common back then!!!).  I have a half sister from my mum, and then my step-father has 2 daughters from his first marriage.  As my mum and him were together when I was really little, they were called my step-sisters but that was only done to be easier for me to understand.  Now that mum is no longer with him, I have no idea where they are (although my sister does).

Whatever is easier for everyone involved, and makes everyone happy.  I am a big believer that family is not only who you are born into, but who you choose yourself.......

They can be only friends as they don't have no blood relation. But if you cant explain to your child becease of the age then tell tehm that they are cousins

I get ya ...really there nothing oops sounds bad but in terms of relations they are'nt how ever if there young and see each other at visits id allow them to be classed as step siblings not half because there's no blood connection but they are kinda siblings through marraiges if that makes sence.

Hope that makes sence its kinda hard to write it out and explain but i had all those questions as a child so...
