I agree, with everyone else....i think it wise to see your GP...it could be a number of things....something as simple as a blocked duct....but to put your mind at ease, see your GP. I don't think it is cancer sweetie, as one who has suffered with cysts and have had biopsy's done also, my doctor told me usually cancer is not painful...but in saying that...everyone is different.

Are you breastfeeding?   Have you recently stopped feeding?  Could it be a blocked duct or mastitis?  Do you do regular self breast exams and know what they feel like?  If you have known cysts, they may be the problem. 

Either way, just to be safe, you should see a doctor.  Better safe than sorry!

HI THERE Don't panic but i really think you should get an urgent appointment with the dr. I had a very similar thing and ignored it until i ended up in hospital( which could have been avoided) with a breast absyss. It was easily treated but i could've been even iller if i hadn't got help. Please get some medical advice. Something this acute is more than likely a simple infection which can easily sorted but pain is your bodies way of telling you to get help. Good luck i'm sure it'll be fine .x

go to the doc honey ,, i used to love the depro and after 7 and a half years it actually did something to me it made my body think it was going into early Menopause as it was thinning the lining inside . i had to go off it and take meds to thicken it back up again and have not been back on it since and ive been fine , i was not told that this will even happen to me when i got my first shot of depro ... I say the depro shouldnt always be used long term and you will need to give your body a break from it ,, just talk to your doc and make sure of everything ...... differnt things happen to differnt people ...

I would be seeing a doctor asap just incase.
