Re: ovulation tests
I used the good old temp test every morning before getting out of bed.
I charted my temp for about 6 months, before seeing a specialist as I knew I was ovulating so something else was wrong (hubby's sperm)

Re: ovulation tests
i got a MaybeBaby (for some reason i got paranoid that i would never be able to have children). its lipstick sized and you put a small bit of saliva on it, let it dry and then look thru and see the patterns that your saliva has made. if its dotty your not ovulating, if it looks kinda like ferns, you are ovulating or around that time.
it cost me $60, but as you just wipe it off and use it the next day. and as long as you treat it right the lens will last forever it seemed worth it.
(funnily enough i got pregnant on my first cycle. :P)
