Yes take one.  You only need to wait a few days after your period to get a good positive test.  If it is false then wait another week to retest and it will then be very accurate.  Any concerns though call your dr.

a home test would work now if it's positive or unclear go to see your dr.

you should do one now and see, if you get a blood test done they can be done from 5days after you think you have conceived and they are more actuate as they are testing your hormone levels, there are some home tests that you can do up to 5 days before you are due for a period, but really you can do a test anytime after you have missed your period, good luck and i hope that this has helped
