Nappies... How To keep Them On?

Hi everyone. So Isabella is 15mths old now and has decided that she doesn't need her nappies anymore. She takes them off as soon as we put them on her. Even with shorts on, she'll take them off first then her nappy lol. I don't think she's ready for toilet training just yet,( she sits on the potty but thinks it's a chair). Does anyone have any ideas how to keep them on her? I really hate the mess she leaves lol.

Re: Nappies... How To keep Them On?
My oldest was the same at about 14 mths, so i figured i'd let him try toilet training. Much to my amazement it worked!! So that was it for nappies during the day. Then on shopping trips or at night i'd put him in pull-up nappies. Solved the problem. The twins were a bit older, probably closer to 18mths. As soon as they wanted to give it a go i let them, and did the same thing with the pull-up nappies. They've been making a boyish mess of the toilet ever since!!

We had the same thing with our daughter. she just refused to keep any clothes on.  I was always finding little puddles and pressies left around. Thankfully they grow out of this fairly quickly. Maybe you could let your daughter wear "big girl" panties and see if this helps contain (lol) the problem.

We went thru this as well with our son at about that age. they sell the onsies up to about 24 mth clothing. He had to wear one at all times or we had a big mess lol.after a while he decided it wasnt even worth trying to do and forgot about it.

Re: Nappies... How To keep Them On?
My son used to do that and I came up with something that worked: because she is still small you should be able to get those singlets that have domes between the legs - they are not too easy to unbuckle and if you put her shorts on top it should deter her. Another thing you could try is putting some overalls on her that have shoulder buckles - just until she stops doing it, then hopefully she will forget her favourite past-time! :)
