I have a 2 year old daughter and shes showing weird signs as she goes to daycare and she play with her and 2night she opened her legs pull her private parts apart and said daycare???i have noticed its red and swollen -see i dont know if i am overacting but i am stressed is it normal???
I agree whole heartly with all the members, have your daughter checked out, for peace of mind...if something has happened, it needs to be reported and dealt with ASAP. Not just for your daughters sake, but for the welfare of the other children.
I would get her checked out. Just for piece of mind. You know, it could be something as silly as her having fallen across a bar. Believe me, boys aren't the only ones who get tears in their eyes from a groin hit.
All kids play with themselves (all part of exploring who they are), but this doesn't sound like that. Get her checked out. Piece of mind for you! If something has happened, then the DayCare will be fully investigated.

You sure could take her to dr's for check up and for peace of mind. The next time you bring her to day care, I would ask 'how' they toilet, if they incourage self toileting, or if she is on a table being wiped and diapered.
It is so scary in the world when one has to trust others, not because we want to work, but because we have to work and no other options are available for child care. My thoughts are with you and I hope all turns out with a positive result for baby, and answers from her daycare providers.
I would take your daughter for a check up, just incase. It will tell you one way or the other. You could always ask her also who taught her that. You may find another child has, and it may be this other child has been abusied and does not know how to relate to others and thinks this is normal play. Which it is not. I would take her immediately to the doctor. It is not what I would consider normal and if it were my child I would be headed to the emergency room so they can see this redness and swelling before it goes away.
It could be nothing but it is better to have gone and nothing happened than to not go and it have been something. It is also possible that it is just a small infection or rash.
I hope that it is not anything serious. Please let us know what you find out.
No your not over reacting , i take her to your dr , it could be just a rash that she she getting form her unrin e form drinking to much juice as well or from then cleaning her her with a driffrent band of wipes .It could could be a few things but i still be taking her to your dr to make sure as your only propecting your daugther and it beeter to sure then to let go uncheck .

hi when skye started nursery she was only 1 and obviously she didn't have anything like this as she got older and was potty training i too noticed she was red raw and i asked the nursery what was happening turned out that they were using baby wipes when we had never used them as they dry babies skin out when they are too young i asked them to stop and carry on with the dry ones we had given. then approx two weeks later she also came back and when in the bath pointed and said nursery, we kept asking different questions and are blessed that she is extremely intelligiant as when i asked if she was wiping after wee wee she said no and it turned out she had thrush and was irritated. any self respecting nursery will answer all questions and not want for you to feel that you don't trust them you are after all a customer and we are always right!!!!!!!!!!! it could be hopefuly innocent you will have to investigate and see though...

I agree with Emmie, go to the doc and voice your concerns. It could just be that somebody at day care is not gentle enough, when changing or toileting your littlgirl. However you can never be too careful so best get her checked. I hope all is well for your little bundle.
it could be quite possible i dont think your over reacting at all your protecting your child i would get her to a dr to get her checked out this way u cann find out for sure
thankx emz i will do that see a doctor see what they say as its weird her saying that i just shes ok -i will b soooo mad if it has happened as i started work and i put tasha in daycare and i will make me sick as i couldve been a stay home mum to protect her as shes a real sweety i love her to bitsxx
