Re: fake tan during pregnancy?
i was told i can fake tan because it cant seep through to the blood stream.so im not really sure now as people here have said its ot safe. Also i know colouring your hair early in pregnancy isnt good but i think its ok once your further along (2nd 3rd trimester).

Fo qestions like that it is always best to check with your doctor. If you get the go ahead then you are okay. Most companies will have a nurse/ medical officer that can send you the details about the product so you can take the details to your doctor. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

Wishing you all the best.

Re: fake tan during pregnancy?

for starters medical opinion would be best although  even then opinions vary. i wouldnt bother with companies like johnson because their views are biased .  the best is  less is best in other words when  anything affects our health in anyway the more natural something is the better for us. by holding off it cant harm you . evem experts dont know the full consequences of things at times and sometimes they have got it wrong. our pores do need to breathe.remember a fake tan is just that !! FAKE  the word itself is telling you something.  cheers and all the best

I was told its not a good idea while you are pregnant.. Especially when you are in the later months (third trimester)
I would stay away from them until after your babe is born.

Re: fake tan during pregnancy?
Yes they are safe, they are not absorbed into the blood stream so thats incorrect info....  the only thing you need to be careful with is reactions your skin may have to them, do a patch test first before using any of them.....  So no you do not have to stop, it will not do any harm to your baby, because of the different hormones during pregnancy your skin may react differently thats all......  I to love my fake tan and did it when I was pregnant, both my Dr's told me it was safe, apparently fake tan is made up of sugar which is non toxic, you are safer doing that then lying in the sun or especially on a sunbed!! xx
