Um, yeah.  It can happen.  I was on the mini pill and I reckon I was still taking it when I got pregnant again.  It is only one phase of hormones and doesn't prevent pregnancy.  It is supposed to only be used with breastfeeding.  Yeah, I got caught too.  As for the age gap? Don't worry about it.  Our kids are 4,3,18m and 7m.  We find that most of the time, they all get on really well.

Hi! It certainly is possible to get pregnant while on the mini pill - expecially if you are not exclusively breast feeding, like if your bub has started solids. I would wait a week or so before you panic just in case your body is playing tricks on you, but then maybe do a test. I don't think it's too close in age - my boys are 17 & 1/2 months apart and I wanted to try before that but hubby wasn't ready. Good luck & let us know what turns out!

Th answer is yes. The mini pill alone will not prevent pregnancy. If you THINK that you are the my advice is to go to the doctor. Lots of women have their children close in age,

I got pregnant whilst on the pill, so I guess getting pregnant on the mini pill is possible.

And in regards to the age gap....Raising children 8,7,6,6,& 4 is great they love playing with each other
