not pooing enough?

sometimes my boy only poos once a week. ive read this is normal for some babies. just wondering..

Yes, what Arna says is true......my third child would go days between poos and i have heard 10 days between bowels movement is normal.  As long as you think the poo looks normal and he isn't constipated (breastfed babies usually don't get constipated) i wouldn't worry, but if you are concerned just check with the doctor.

Hi there,

You don't mention how old your son is or if he is breastfed.  A lot of breastfed babies only poop about once a week.  My oldest went 5 weeks without doing one and we were told that was normal.  If he isn't gaining weight or is not showing signs of interest in his enviornment, then maybe a trip to the doctors would be a good idea.
