hi  darl my mum and nanna use to use a gold wedding or engagment ring on us wen we had stys they would just rub it in the downward way as in from the top to the bottom by stroking the ring over the sty then of course u need to wash the ring but they use to just keep doin it and i reckon with in a couple of days it use to be gon its worth a try donna see how u go and good luck
