Basically it is rather simple 

Q & A:  is for any parenting questions you may have, or minti specific Questions

Advice: section is for writing any Advice that may be useful to others

Your blog: is for writng anything you want, be it how your day went or to vent out things.

Your lounge: is for your friends they can visit and blog what they like in there and only them and yourself can see it.

There are many groups that you can join that will help keep you sane or just help in that field.

You can search for advice if it is need.  Search for a question someome might have written the same one, as what you want.

this is just a simple overview of some of the things used in minti.  What I did when I joined was to just click on stuff and just see what happened.  best to just browse until you see what others have done, then have ago yourself.

It took me a while to understand how everything works as I had no computer skills either. I don't think there is a right or wrong way. You can visit as often as you like and have as many friends as you like and ask a question in the Q & A, Look for advice in the find stuff box- press search, join the groups that interest you. Best of all have fun learning. If you make a mistake say sorry and learn but don't take it too seriously. I hope she has fun. Just take it slow I say.
