Why deleted your wonderful parenting advice?

It seems that a trend is staring where members leave minti and get minti to delete all their advice. I am just wondering why?. Its so heartbreaking to lose members without their advice too. This advice is put up by them for everyone so even if they leave,, there are people here who will still benefit from the advice. Can we stop this trend? or at least deter it.

Re: Why deleted your wonderful parenting advice?
I would guess that if someone isn't happy to be a member of the site any longer, that they want to remove all of their contributions as well... I am not 100% sure, however I think if they left them behind, they would become anonymous advice postings, and subject to use on the internet as deemed by 'Minti'.

This is taken from Minti's Editorial Guidelines by rachelcook

Regardless of what the author's reasons are, I guess we just need to respect their decision, and keep encouraging people to post new advice articles.

I would also like to add here that Minti does retain the advice, but it is reverted to either Minti-Database or the author is seen as 'anonymous'.

Having seen some of the replies that are given/comments made, I understand why people feel they have to go anon and I do feel it is their right to chose to do so without being criticized.

There was no critisism in my comment thanx, and i just feel that for questions like this, there is no need to feel embrassed or ashamed to ask such things..

No, no problem, just making an observation.  Sometimes you just feel a twit for asking, so I feel you should have the right to go under cover, but no problem.

Re: Why deleted your wonderful parenting advice?
i have no idea why ppl are deleting their advice if they chose to leave, unless its a personal story that they dont want on here anymore and dont want ppl to read.
we join because we want to help others, so why take away something that might help another person if the site if thats the case?
