Has anyone had a cin 3? I get results from my biopsy in 2 weeks time. Feeling a little nervous but just keep on focussing on the hope that all I need is laser treatment and all of this will go away except for 6 monthly smears after that. Just need some reassurance from anyone who has been in the same boat. Praying that the last layer of skin before the cervix is not affected....
i had the loop treatment in january as i also had cin3 didnt find it painfull in the least and had very little bleeding afterwards im due my nxt smear in 2 days n hoping thats clear but if not i wont be worrying about having treatment again as i found it easy last time although i admit it was not nice having somebody down there but the actual treatment was fine, hope this helps x
Hey you, i found out a few days ago that i have CIN 2-3. You know what, it's not to worry, it's not cancer!
if you leive it untreated it might become cancer in 10 years for example.
what we have is fully tratable up to stage 3, so it's not to worry.all we need is a good doctor, patience, and many pap smears after surgery. I will have loop procedure done to remove my ubnormal cells. There is different procedures to do, your doctor will tell you which one.(it depends for example if you have children, if you don't and you want in the future...etc.
Hello, How are you? l know how you feel about this and a lot of others do as well, l had CIN 3 and l was scared when l found out and so worried. l had my laser surgery done in the royal womens hospital in Melbourne and the staff there where wonderful. After surgery l had cramps for awhile - like weak period pain while l was healing, my CIN 3 didnt return and still hasn't. l wrote my story under my advice - if you wanna read it. Feel free to message me if you would like to know more about how l felt or any questions.....my wishes to you and l am here if you need support.
Try not to worry, hard I know. First time I was a 2 and I was told I could wait as these things nearly always dissapear, mine didn't, I was almost a 3 they rated me 2-3. My biopsy was fine no problems. I had to have the surgery and then check ups every 6 mths. Just recently I was told that I didn't have to have a check up for 2 years.
It's hard and I know what your going through, I think you should be fine.
