When it comes to pregnancy tests, it depends on the time of day you do them.  I would be going to the docs for a blood test to be absolutely sure.

Well unless you are on fertillity treatment you can't have a false positive. So you have to be pregnant. Did you do the test after the missed period? U can also have what they call spontanios abortions where your egg gets fertalised but then there is something not quite right so the body gets rid of it. This usually happens in the first couple of weeks after conception and most people don't even know they are pregnant because they get a period (expelling the egg)

So if you get a negative don't worry. There might not have been enough hormones in the urine to be detected. Go to the doctor. Doc will do another test and if its a negative will usually also do a blood test to be sure. Goodluck on being pregnant.

Hey, you actually can get a posotive negative..I still think your pregnant but you also could still have high hcg levels.I think you should go see a doctor asap and get a blood test done just to be sure.

I have always understood that it is impossible to show up a positive but not be pregnant but it is possible to have a negative result and still be pregnant

Congratulations.  You can't get a false positive - only a false negative.  So, once you have a positive, that's it!
