hi my name is becky,

i am currently unemployed and looking for a stay at home work, i am a mother of four and a soon to be grandmother.

Due to the fact my daughter is still persuing her dreams in going to uni, i decided that i would help out by looking after my gradchild while my daughter is attending uni.

SO PLEASE HELP!

although i have already been involved with one of those scamming survey sites, so im only looking for work that has a realiable income and you dont have to put any of your own money out to make money.

Re: stay at home work.

If you're good with typing on the computer (ie data entry or word processing), there are some agencies out there that pay you per assignment. We had a family friend who was with an employment agency and she used to do that.

Re: stay at home work.

you know nearly all work at home sites are scams,, they all want money,, well what iv seen as, i think if you work from home maybe its better to start some kind of thing yourself,, i know everyone cant do this but for them that can, go it alone,, if companys can do it so can other people,, all these sites want something in return,, so why not cut out the middle man?  just my oppinion xxxshar

Re: stay at home work.

Hi I'm finding it hard to get work from home jobs and yes there are a lot of scams out there anything that asks you for money should be avoided like the plague.   Have you got any market research companies in Australia if you have then they are quite flexible and have got a few working from home jobs, or you could try things like Avon or tuppaware parties it's where you sell goods for a company from your home to your friends and then take a cut from the sales.   Or you could become a childminder which means you can look after other working mums kids at home and get paid for it.  Or you could advertise to do other people's ironing not sure if that is popular in Australia.  Or you could try seling stuff on ebay a lot of my friends go to car boot sales and pick up items that they know will definately make money on ebay.  That's it I think I've run out of ideas now, hope it helps.

Re: stay at home work.

Having left working as a job placement officer around 12 months ago I think I am still in the fold when it comes to employment. I am also looking for work at home income so I know where they are coming from.

The news is not good. Most stay at home work is very poorly paid and often shonky. I am finding the only income that I can really make is by writing - you dont have to be a great writer, just know what you are writing about. There are a lot of article sites out there looking for writen material. The pay is still lousy and very slow, however, you can write one article and submit it to a hundred sites. Over time the income will build - 100 articles on 100 sites - not huge income - but income.

Otherwise there is very little. Most survey places are shonky. Be very careful about any online work.

The one other area that I can think of is to set up as occasional day care. It can be expensive to set up but the income is regular.
